Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark Pushed Out of January

Miramax deal stalls release

Originally due for release January 21, Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark‘s release is going to face a delay.

According to Deadline, you can thank Walt Disney’s Miramax deal for that. You see, Miramax is in line to be acquired by Colony Capital. Until that deal is finalized later this year/early-2011, it looks like Dark‘s release will have to wait a spell.

When it does hit the screen, it will debut under Colony’s Filmyard banner.
