Insidious Earns Raves, Gets Distribution

James Wan’s supernatural thriller

James Wan’s latest film, Insidious (set report part 1/part 2), made a splash at the Toronto International Film Festival last night. The haunted house pic is seemingly garnering some terrific reviews from those who have seen it.

According to Deadline, negotiations to distribute the picture began immediately following the screening and Sony is the big winner. No word yet on distribution plans.

Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson play proud parents who take possession of an old house to build a nest for their family, an accident results in one of their sons falling into a coma. The tragedy doesn’t stop there when they are beset by vengeful spirits from another realm.
