New buyers for the notorious abode
There are going to be new occupants soon in the Amityville house.
After going on the market a few months ago, realtor Joanne Mills of Exit Realty Premier has found owners for the abode that served as the backdrop for The Amityville Horror.
Newsday suspects, but cannot confirm, that the new tenants are the D’Antonios, residents of the community who wanted a house on the water.
The house was going for $1.15 million. It took 70 days to get it sold.
On the Amityville feature film front, well, MGM was developing The Amityville Tapes, however, we have not heard much about that since the studio began experiencing extreme financial woes.
