For those who grew up on the Predator films, Alan Silvestri’s scores were muscular action music with blaring horns and various other layers that dropped us right into the thick of the jungle action. Awesome stuff that I love to revisit on occasion. He’s not returning for the upcoming Predators, unfortunately. Scoring duties have been placed on the capable shoulders of John Debney who took his fans into a scoring session recently with a You Tube video that offers an audio sample of what’s to come.
