From indie horror director to actor to TMZ darling, Eli Roth’s journey through Hollywood sure is an interesting one. Nevertheless, the Hostel helmer still has a grip on the genre and his presence is being felt this summer in the release of The Last Exorcism.

TMZ caught up to Roth in West Hollywood, fresh out of the hospital for after some encounter with a sea urchin. If you watch TMZ’s video here and endure the opening dialogue horseshit about hit toe, Roth does talk a bit about Exorcism and what we can expect.

The Last Exorcism makes its premiere at the Los Angeles Film Festival this month.
