Soundtrack distributor Varese Sarabande is offering a tantalizing – and all too brief! – sample of Danny Elfman’s score for The Wolfman. If you click here you can test run the following tracks: “Wolf Suite Pt.1,” “Gypsy Massacre,” “Country Carnage” and “The Traveling Montage.” There’s also a full track listing as well.
Elfman’s been hit or miss for me the last few years, but I’m digging the samples so far. The “Wolf Suite” works some of the other track samples are definitive Elfman we’ve come to know.
The score hits on February 23, the film on February 12.
