Splatterhouse is eventually making its comeback on the video game scene. Long-delayed due to firings, hirings and creative tinkering, the Namco-Bandai title looks like it’s finally being released in September 2010. A long ways off, don’t I know it. But that hasn’t stopped me from pre-ordering the damn thing. Splatterhouse – the tale of a dude who throws on a mask to transform into an ass-kicking behemoth – was a fave of mine in the early ’90s. To see it rebooted puts a big ol’ smile on my face, as do the screen grabs Kotaku is hosting right here.
