Teaser Art for Julia’s Eyes

Cameras roll on Del Toro-produced film

Hard to believe it has been two years since we first reported on Julia’s Eyes (Los Ojos de Julia).

Since then, Guillermo del Toro came aboard the project earlier this year to shepherd the Guillem Morales-directed thriller starring Belen Rueda (The Orphanage) and Lluis Homar (Broken Embraces). Cameras began rolling last month in Spain and some tease art from Rodar y Rodar has presented itself online. The story tells of a woman slowly going blind as she investigates the mysterious death of her twin sister. Good times.

This is the latest Del Toro production to finally get rolling into 2009. The director was also shepherding Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark by director Troy Nixey.
