Actress: talks sequel, hasn’t read script
In a recent interview, actress Neve Campbell enthusiastically spoke about the upcoming Scream 4 which she says begins shooting in April 2010.
“I’m pretty sure at this stage that Wes [Craven] is back on board to direct and Kevin [Willamson] is definitely writing it…so it is going to be great,” she says perhaps offering the first confirmation that Craven is returning to the director’s chair.
Then again, she later says she hasn’t read the script. Regarding her co-stars David Arquette and Courteney Cox, she says, “I haven’t spoken to them in a while. I’m sure it took a while to convince them to take part [in the picture], especially because theyâre now a very happy family, and of course, it was a long journey for them. I think it’s going to be a lot of fun, and a lot like going back to summer camp.”
