Rest easy, Voorhees fans
Plenty is being said about Friday the 13th Part 2. None of it true, it appears, well as far as some rumors are concerned.
Over the weekend, a site called Pajiba reported that Jason Voorhees is being killed off in the upcoming Platinum Dunes sequel and that it could be the last Friday the 13th. Even if true, we’ve seen Voorhees die before only to return again.
Still, rumors ran rampant and Fuller said, via his Twitter account, that it’s all bullshit and “I am working on F13 part 2 everyday.” And no, contrary to other reports, Richard Wardlow is not directing.
Friday the 13th: Part 2 is anticipated to arrive in theaters on August 13, 2010.
