You might be surprised, or not
An interesting assessment courtesy of the Box Office Mojo team. While looking into the top grossing horror films (it’s the Halloween season, time to step back and look at the genre’s success), BOM posted on their homepage a list of the top grossing supernatural films of all time and thought it was worthy enough to share. Many that ranked in the top ten were released in the last decade (thanks to a rise in ticket price).
Quality-wise, only three here would land in my “best supernatural flick” top ten whereas the others… Damn, The Haunting remake shouldn’t have made as much as it did.
