Wrong Turn 3 sets release date
Sources tell ShockTillYouDrop.com this afternoon that 20th Century Fox is developing Mirrors 2, a follow-up to last year’s late-summer horror film Mirrors. It will be geared for the direct-to-DVD market, similar to Fox’s Joy Ride and Wrong Turn series, so you can probably rule out Kiefer Sutherland or director Alexandre Aja returning. Fox is looking at a 2010 release for Mirrors 2.
Aja’s Mirrors grossed over $70 million worldwide.
And speaking of Wrong Turn, expect the third entry in the series, Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead, to premiere on DVD October 20th. Star Janet Montgomery (interview) finds herself running with escaped convicts and defending herself from mutant inbred killers. Cover art to come.
