Bousman’s update on the Twisted Pictures redo
As Repo! The Genetic Opera continues to amass a cult following via a nationwide tour, director Darren Bousman is moving forward on his next film: a redo of Charles Kaufman’s Mother’s Day (official announcement here).
Those following his Twitter account can get updates on how things are progressing. Here’s the latest entry: “Up early to start location scouting… FIRST UP – we are going to go scout a $%$#^#$&> Wait, I can’t give you a spoiler THIS early!”
Mother’s Day, which is being produced by
Twisted Pictures, The Genre Company Rat Entertainment and LightTower Entertainment, is expected to hit theaters in 2010.
