What about those Englund cameo rumors?
Actress Connie Britton is the latest cast member to sign up for A Nightmare on Elm Street. She recently shared screen time with Ron Perlman in The Last Winter, directed by Larry Fessenden. You’ve also seen her on 24, Friday Night Lights and The West Wing.
Now, since Nightmare was first announced there have been some rumblings that Robert Englund might have room in the film for a cameo. Sources tell us he will not pop up in the film.
A Nightmare on Elm Street is now rolling in Chicago with director Samuel Bayer at the helm. Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker and Katie Cassidy star.
