Mrs. Cruise stars in another horror film
Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark has landed its female lead: Katie Holmes.
The Miramax Films thriller, scripted by Guillermo del Toro and Matthew Robbins, concerns a young girl who moves in with her father and his girlfriend and discovers they are sharing the house with creatures that live beneath the stairs. It’s a remake of a ’73 ABC telefilm.
Troy Nixey is directing with the aim to start principal photography in Melbourne this summer. The film will be released under a “Guillermo del Toro presents” banner.
