Bubba Nosferatu and Gatekeeper
Ron Perlman is a workhorse. The actor is involved in eight films in our database and he’s showing no signs of slowing down. Yesterday, I spoke with Perlman about his latest role in Mutant Chronicles and briefly got the lowdown on two projects he has not shot yet.
First is The Gatekeeper, a film Production Weekly announced a week ago. The actor was hesitant to discuss this one as his obligations to the series Sons of Anarchy may prevent him from participating in Gatekeeper. It is currently up in the air, but he sounded hopeful.
Then there’s Bubba Nosferatu, the sequel to Don Coscarelli’s Bubba Ho-Tep. Perlman will be taking over for Bruce Campbell as Elvis, but again, no solid word yet as to when production will start. The actor hopes by this fall.
