She’s playing a mom in The Fields
We’re not too sure why Tara Reid has become the go-to girl for some fans who have hopelessly been petitioning to get her in A Nightmare on Elm Street. It’s an odd phenomenon. Those Reid fans can take comfort in knowing she is doing a horror film called The Fields.
According to Variety, she’ll play a mother “whose family is terrorzed by an unseen presence” for directors Tom Mattera and David Mazzoni. The film’s official MySpace page says it is based on a true story that took place in a small Pennsylvania town in 1973. Tommy Lee Wallace (It, Halloween III) is acting as associate producer.
Shooting begins this September in Philadelphia. Mattera and Mazzoni previously collaborated on The 4th Dimension which hit DVD through TLA Releasing last year.
