FX artist reveals his take on redesign
Many “ifs” surround Dimension Films’ proposed Hellraiser redo. If the studio gets rolling on this long-mooted project, when will it happen? If Pascal Laugier sticks around to direct, how faithful will his story be to Clive Barker’s source material? If an FX artist subsequently climb aboard, what will his take on Pinhead look like? Well, if long-time Hellraiser make-up vet Gary Tunnicliffe introduced the cenobite to a new generation, it would look like the dude you see below.
In an interesting move on an FX artist’s part, Tunnicliffe revealed a series of photos, and a video, that offer a look at his updated Pinhead “if” he got the job to work on the remake. The pics are accompanied by an article explaining his intentions for this “extreme” look. Hustle over to this spot and give it a read.
