Which ending are they jumping off from?
Lensing is currently taking place in London’s Ealing Studios on The Descent 2 with the original film’s director Neal Marshall sitting in the executive producer seat and Jon Harris directing. And while it’s widely known actresses Shauna MacDonald and Natalie Mendoza are returning, it wasn’t public knowledge that the entire original cast is back.
According to Empire, MyAnna Buring, Alex Reid, Saskia Mulder and Nora-Jane Noone as Sam, Beth, Rebeccca and Holly, respectively. How could this be? Flashbacks, of course. In a chat with Buring, she revealed that the sequel, written by James Watkins, picks up where the American cut left off (wha…?).
