Shining-esque thriller by McConville
Sean McConville is cutting his teeth in the director’s chair on a psychological thriller called Deadline. Described by THR has a Shining-style feature, the film stars Brittany Murphy, Thora Birch and Tammy Blanchard.
Murphy (of Sin City) “plays a writer who travels to an abandoned house to write a screenplay. A bout of writer’s block and other unforeseen events lead her to a psychological breakdown.”> Principal photography began Wednesday in Louisiana. Roger Betterton is producing. Marc Blucas (Animals) also stars.
