Creator responds to rumors
Today, a report surfaced elsewhere pointing to Ghost House Pictures’ plans to develop a direct-to-DVD sequel to 30 Days of Night. “I have no idea where this is coming from,” 30 Days creator Steve Niles reveals to Shock with a bit of surprise. “There’s not one bit of truth to that.” He does own up to wanting to pursue a follow-up to last year’s violent vampire epic. But Niles and director David Slade stated there was always potential, if the film performed well. Should there be a sequel, Niles will undoubtedly have involvement.
