Official details on Dead of Night
The puzzle pieces are all locked in place and we now have all of the details on the forthcoming Dylan Dog adaptation Dead of Night (last report).
Hyde Park and Platinum Studios will shepherd along the big screen take on Tiziano Sclavi’s Italian comic book. And as we’ve known for a few weeks now, Brandon Routh of Superman Returns is locked in to play Dylan Dog, a private investigator “drawn into the world of the undead,” and Kevin Munroe is directing. Sahara‘s Joshua Oppenheimer and Thomas Dean Donnelly wrote the script.
According to Variety, Al Ovadia & Associates has been approached to handle merchandising for both the film and the comicbook property. So, expect Dylan Dog – who has been on the genre scene since ’86 – to get some much bigger exposure.
