Halloween III, The Fog star
Genre vet and convention favorite Tom Atkins is joining the cast of My Bloody Valentine 3-D. Atkins has appeared in Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Escape from New York, Creepshow (“That’s why God made fathers, babe.”), Lethal Weapon and The Fog.
Patrick Lussier is directing this 3-D redo of the ’81 slasher film. Jaime King and Jensen Ackles have taken leading roles and the production is said to be shooting soon in Pittsburgh. Lionsgate will release Valentine on January 23, 2009.
