Jovovich’s Encounters of The 4th Kind

Horror hottie is put on ice

Milla Jovovich, star of Screen Gems’ lucrative Resident Evil franchise, is taking on thriller entitled The 4th Kind next in lieu of zombies and clones.

Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces) protégé Olatunde Osunsanmi is writing and directing for Gold Circle Films. Production is expected to begin in late-June with Jovovich playing an investigator sent to an Alaskan town known for its mysterious disappearances. The locals claim government cover-up.

Specific script details are being kept hush-hush, however it is rooted in fact.

Gold Circle is currently overseeing production of the Kevin Costner-starring The New Daughter and is behind Joel Schumacher’s Creek which Lionsgate will distribute.
