Macdonald’s Sarah faces more crawlers
B-D reports My Little Eye‘s James Watkins is the credited writer on The Descent 2. it was previously reported that Jon Harris is directing for Celador Films.
Although unconfirmed, B-D adds the sequel finds Sarah (played in the first film by Shauna Macdonald) being picked up by a rescue crew who “takes her back into the cave to find survivors – where terror ensues once again.” Sounds like a fairly obvious premise, no? More details can be found here.
When we spoke to Marshall earlier this month (story) he was about to read the script, but couldn’t comment on what role he’d play in the follow-up.
