Craven’s update on Rogue remake
Don’t believe for a second that this one crept back under a rock. No, sir.
Rogue Pictures is still moving forward on a re-telling of Wes Craven’s gut-churning The Last House on the Left. Dennis Iliadis jumped on board last May after having impressed Craven with his provocative film Hardcore. The Greek helmer is working from a script by Adam Alleca (more on him here).
In a recent Fangoria Radio interview with Craven, he reveals principal photography starts on the remake next month in South Africa. That means casting announcements should be just around the corner. South Africa served as the production backdrop for The Breed, another Craven production.
