Seventh Horrorfest Title: Tooth and Nail

Cannibals devour After Dark

Mark Young’s post-apocalyptic cannibal thriller Tooth and Nail is the seventh title to join After Dark’s 8 Films to Die For Horrorfest (running Nov. 9th – 18th).

Set in the year 2012, some bad shit has gone down and a band of survivors are struggling to rebuild society in Philadelphia. The only problem? They’re being hunted by a pack of nasty cannibals. Rachel Miner (star of last year’s Horrorfest entry Penny Dreadful), Vinnie Jones (Midnight Meat Train), Michael Madsen, Rider Strong and Robert Carradine star as the eaten or the being eaten – venture to guess which side Jones stands on?

“Mark Young is a vibrant and visionary new voice in horror,” says After Dark’s CEO Courtney Solomon. Tooth and Nail played this week to a receptive audience at Hollywood’s Screamfest. Click on the title for stills and an early trailer.

Other films in this year’s Horrorfest include: The Deaths of Ian Stone, Nightmare Man, Frontière(s), Mulberry Street, Borderland and Unearthed.
