Fox Atomizes Comic-Con

Giveaways, guest signing details

Last year, Fox Atomic made big splash in the large pond known as Comic-Con. Then, they were 20th Century Fox’s rebellious punk-ass little brother who boasted films like The Hills Have Eyes 2 and 28 Weeks Later. With those films now behind them, Atomic is returning to San Diego this week with some new friends.

The company’s publishing arm, Fox Atomic Comics, is touting its graphic novels “The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning,” “28 Days Later: Aftermath” and the upcoming “The Nightmare Factory” (arriving September 4th). Those participating in booth signings include: artists Ben Templesmith, Ted McKeever, and Michael Gaydos, and writers Joe Harris and Stuart Moore (“The Nightmare Factory”); writer Steve Niles and cover artist Tim Bradstreet (“28 Days Later: The Aftermath”); and writers Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray (“The Hills Have Eyes: The Beginning”).

Director James Wan, actor Kevin Bacon and Garrett Hedlund are swinging by to sign limited edition posters for Death Sentence Saturday, July 28th at 3pm. And those who pay the booth a visit can enter an online sweepstakes to win the film’s 1969 Ford Mustang.
