Van Damme to Dropkick Holy Blood

From writer Sheldon Lettich

Jean Claude Van Damme’s films elicit a certain kind of horror. For the purpose of this news piece this isn’t the type of horror we’re talking about. The folks at Moviehole have learned the pony-tailed action star will appear in his first supernatural thriller called Holy Blood.

“Blood” scribe Sheldon Lettich (Rambo III, Bloodsport) describes the plot as a mystery that “deals with the occult and the supernatural, and there’s certainly some stuff in it that’s designed to be creepy and/or scary. But it’s not a horror movie per se, like, for example, ‘Evil Dead, or ‘Hostel’ or ‘Halloween’ or ‘Saw.’ The short description I’ve given is ‘The Exorcist’ meets ‘The X-Files.'”

Before Van Damme moves on to Holy Blood he must first jump into something called Pride.
