Life in a Dead City

More zombies from the UK

Something’s rotten in the UK again. If you guessed “zombies,” you wouldn’t be too far from the mark. Our British brothers in horror are at it again, this time with Dead City. Director James Kennedy is shaking the narrative formula up introducing the audience to three separate stories pitting us in different locations, with various characters, during a city-wide zombie outbreak. There’s also something about a corporation unleashes a virus and super soldiers, but it sounds like those take the backseat to the prominent blood-soaked mania ‘City’ offers.

One thread is set in a movie theater overrun with survivors…and the undead while another tale poses an unfortunate predicament when some poor sap finds himself kicked out of his house by his girlfriend in the thick of the urban outbreak. The third part is for the fellas offering three stoners, three hot broads and a bar-full of, you guessed it, zombies. Kennedy pointed Arrow about to the ‘City’ MySpace page where you can follow the production’s progress and find plenty of stills from what Kennedy has already put in the can.
