Netflix has renewed the fan-favorite show Bridgerton for Seasons 5 and 6. The two-season renewal was announced in May 2025, ahead of the premiere of its fourth season.
Season 4, which follows the love story of Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Baek, is all set to reach its conclusion on February 26. However, fans can rest assured that the show will return with more installments. While Netflix has not officially confirmed which Bridgerton siblings Season 5 and 6 will center on, popular speculations point to Francesca, played by Hannah Dodd, and Eloise, played by Claudia Jessie (via Deadline).
Netflix announced the double renewal through a Lady Whistledown pamphlet. It reads, “Dearest Gentle Reader, Rarely is this author granted the opportunity to share with you such information. It is with great pleasure I can announce Bridgerton shall return for Seasons 5 and 6. Do celebrate accordingly.”
The fictional Regency gossip columnist also announced the premiere date window of Season 4, which released the first four episodes together on January 29, 2026. The final four episodes will arrive on Thursday, February 26, concluding the story of Benedict and Sophie.
