Every series canceled or renewed between June 22-26
Here’s a look at all the latest series renewals and cancellations announced this week.
Renewed
- Dutton Ranch: Paramount has renewed Taylor Sheridan’s latest Western drama for Season 2. The show kicked off with an incredible debut season, with the premiere episode reportedly garnering over 12.9 million viewers. With Season 1 still having several episodes remaining, the renewal came pretty quickly. Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are expected to return for Season 2.
- Invincible: Prime Video has greenlit the sixth season of the TV-MA-rated superhero animated series. Although Season 5 will air sometime in 2027, the early renewal for Season 6 isn’t all that surprising. This is because the fifth installment was also renewed almost a year before Season 4 aired earlier this year. The showrunners made the announcement at the recent Annecy International Animation Festival. A release date has yet to be revealed.
- The Americas: NBC’s nature documentary, narrated by Tom Hanks, is returning for Season 2. The show explores the wildlife, landscapes, and ecosystems of North and South America. Season 1 concluded back in April. However, there will be two special episodes before Season 2 arrives. The Americas: A Wild 250th premieres on July 2, 2026, while The Americas: Mother’s Day is set to debut in 2027.
- A Woman of Substance: Channel 4 has renewed A Woman of Substance for Season 2 following the success of its debut season. It was reportedly the network’s most-streamed drama since It’s a Sin. Brenda Blethyn and Jessica Reynolds will return as Emma Harte, with the new season continuing the character’s story across two timelines.
Canceled
- Ponies: Peacock has canceled Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke’s spy thriller after only one season. Co-starring Haley Lu Richardson, Season 1 aired on January 15, 2026, and attracted favorable reviews. Despite that, the steamer canceled the show, and the reason for the decision has not been made public yet.
