Vanished aired its finale episode on MGM+ on Sunday. Now, viewers are eager to learn whether the studio renewed or canceled the show for Season 2. Since it comprised only four episodes, fans are left wondering what’s next in store for its leading characters. So, are there more seasons to look forward to?
Here are the details on the show’s future.

Has MGM+ canceled Vanished or renewed it for Season 2?
MGM+ has neither canceled nor renewed Vanished. It was created as a mini-series with no follow-up seasons planned. However, Sam Claflin, the lead actor, hopes to continue exploring the story.
While speaking to TV Insider, Claflin, who plays Tom Parker, discussed this character’s actions throughout the series. Towards the end of the interview, the actor expressed his wish to portray a character that requires “some sort of physicality or stunts or running.” While his character on the show turned out to be an undercover MI-6 agent, Claflin said that he didn’t have enough opportunity to showcase his athleticism.
The Me Before You actor hopes that the ending of Vanished “opens the door” for future seasons that’ll allow him to prove that he can do stunts. He concluded, “I enjoy finding the physicality of each character and how this person walks and carries himself, and exploring that further and deeper. A fight-action thriller would be really fun, I think.”
Vanished follows Alice Monroe (Kaley Cuoco) as she travels to Arles, France, with her partner, Tom. During their journey, she wakes up to find that he has disappeared. As she desperately searches for Tom, she learns the shocking truth about his double life.
The final episode, titled “Run, Alice, Run,” aired on February 22, 2026. In the finale, despite Tom coming clean to Alice about his role as an agent tasked with exposing a human trafficking ring, she leaves him and returns to the US.
