Will Sophia hurt Chanel and her unborn baby in Days of Our Lives?
On Days of Our Lives, a recent decision has fans deeply worried about where Sophia Choi’s story is heading. Chanel made a risky move by visiting Sophia, despite knowing how much Sophia hates both her and Johnny.
She also knows Sophia never wanted them to adopt Trey and previously went to extreme lengths to destroy their relationship. Still, Chanel chose to confront her, something many thought was a mistake.
Chanel may feel that Sophia will always be Trey’s biological mother. Meanwhile, approaching her while she’s still unstable only made things worse. Now, Sophia knows Chanel is pregnant, and that knowledge has intensified her obsession.
She no longer just wants Trey back this situation now involves an unborn child. Sophia’s behavior has already crossed into dangerous territory. Her fixation has grown so intense that she even frightened Melinda, and it looks like blackmail could be next.
At this point, the threat isn’t just emotional, it could become physical. In a previous interview with Soaps.com, Rachel Boyd, who plays Sophia, explained that she doesn’t view the character as a villain.
She said, “You make somebody out to be a villain again and again and again for making decisions that that are authentic and and pure for them with the knowledge that they have at that time, well, then don’t be surprised if this person really does turn into exactly what you keep telling them that they are!”
Boyed also added that Sophia refuses to be made small or powerless. “Sophia will never be made to feel small or belittled. And if people are going to push her to the point where she has to fight back, she’s going to fight back.”
That warning now feels very real. If Sophia goes too far and harms Chanel or causes her to lose the baby, that would cross an unforgivable line. For now, fans can only hope the show doesn’t take things that far.
Still, with emotions running high and Sophia feeling pushed into a corner, the danger feels closer than ever.
