General Hospital fans have called out Kai for his inconsistent behavior in regards to revealing the identity of Drew’s shooter. Fans noted how Kai changed his opinion when he and Trina discovered that the shooter was someone else than the one they suspected earlier.

General Hospital fans think Kai wants to save his job with Drew
For the past few General Hospital episodes, Kai and Trina were determined to learn if Michael had the same ringtone that they heard on the night Drew got shot. They both agreed that they would go to the cops if they learnt that Michael was the shooter. After working with Gio, the two realized that Michael was innocent. Instead, they learned that Willow committed the crime and that she had the same ringtone for Wiley.
However, in Friday’s episode, Kai showed uncertainty about approaching the cops with the information about Drew’s shooter. He said that Drew would come after them if they revealed the actual killer. Furthermore, they could also be in trouble for breaking into the congressman’s house. This inconsistency has irked some viewers.
One user took to the show’s Facebook page to discuss the matter. The user wrote, “Kai when he thought Michael was the shooter: ‘We have to find out the truth, and if it turns out to be Michael, we have to let the police know. Otherwise, an innocent woman (Willow) could go to prison.’
Kai when he realized that Willow is the shooter: ‘Wait Trina, we can’t go to the authorities. Not unless we want to get arrested ourselves for breaking into Drew’s house.’ What happened to wanting to tell the truth though, dude?”
The post has garnered a lot of attention, and other users have chipped in with their opinions. One user said, “Kai don’t want to lose his job with Drew. Kai is so wimpy.” Meanwhile, another replied, “He makes no sense and makes me sick.” A third user commented, “Yeah, Kai is ridiculous. Why everyone is still falling for Willow’s sweet and innocent and can-do-no-wrong act is insane.”
Some users have criticized both characters. “Can’t stand either one of these two,” wrote one fan. Another believed, “I don’t think either of them knows how to tell the actual truth.”
