Major shake-ups are rolling into General Hospital‘s Port Charles this week. A couple of new faces are stepping into the spotlight, some familiar favorites are making their way back, and one character is gearing up for a dramatic exit from the show.

Nazneen Contractor: She is front and center as Acting District Attorney Justine Turner, gearing up for a fierce legal tussle with Sonny Corinthos.
Vernee Watson: Over on the family drama front, Vernee Watson returns as Stella Henry, Curtis Ashford’s no-nonsense aunt who never shows up without stirring the pot.
Asher Antonyzyn: The younger front is getting some action, too. Asher Antonyzyn joins the cast as Danny Morgan, Jason Morgan’s son, arriving to help Rocco Falconeri in his legal battle.
Bluesy Burke: She lands as Charlotte Cassadine, working to support her brother Rocco.
Kathleen Gati: She returns as the unforgettable Liesl Obrecht, sharing scenes with her niece Nina, which basically guarantees drama.
Finn Carr: This week, all eyes are locked on Dante and Lulu’s son, Rocco Falconeri, who has found himself stuck in juvenile detention, fighting to get released.
Who’s leaving
And on the way-out list is Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton, played by Daniel Goddard.
His storyline hits a tragic end this week after a high-stakes clash with Sidwell leaves him fatally shot.
This dramatic send-off that closes the book on his character’s journey and sets the stage for whatever fallout comes next.
General Hospital has earned a remarkable array of accolades over its decades-long run. This includes a record-breaking 18 Daytime Emmy wins for Outstanding Drama Series, more than any other show in the soap opera scene.
At the 2025 Daytime Emmys, the soap received seven trophies out of 16 nominations, including the award for the Outstanding Daytime Drama Series.
