The Voice Season 28 Reveals Who Went Home on Knockouts Night 1

The Voice Season 28 has started with the Knockout rounds, and these are the artists who went home this week. At the start, each of the coaches, Niall Horan, Michael Bublé, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg, had eight artists remaining on their teams. The Knockout rounds meant that the team members would compete against one another.

Who got eliminated and went home in Night 1 of the Knockouts in The Voice Season 28?

With Knockout rounds just starting this week, The Voice saw various artists who went home and others who went ahead. Joe Walsh, a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and multi-Grammy-winning singer, graced the stage to help Niall Horan and Reba McEntire with their teams. As for Zac Brown, who also has a Grammy, he helped with Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg’s team.

A new feature was added for the coaches to use during the Knockouts. It is called a “Mic Drop” button. This will allow them to save an artist from their own teams. They can shortlist four of these artists, and later, the audience can vote to save one of them.

The list of artists who went home this week on The Voice is as follows:

Leyton Robinson: She competed against Aubrey Nicole, and the latter won. Reba said, “I always look forward to the Knockout Rounds because that is where you have everybody narrowed down. The cream of the crop is rising to the top. Aubrey is definitely an emotional singer. That emotion just comes through the microphone into your heart. She held it together better than I did because that song really got me.”

Kenny Iko: He went up against Ralph Edwards, both of Team Snoop, and lost. The coach said, “The thing is, Ralph has the it factor. The it factor is that he could actually win it, this competition. Ralph’s performances have been groundbreaking, award-worthy, top-of-the-line, performing at his highest level.”

Sadie Dahl: Dahl competed against Ava Nat of Team Niall, who ended up winning. Niall said, “Ava is the most consistent one we have on the show. Every time she comes out, she gives a shatterproof performance. Her ability to tell a story is insane. I just feel so confident with Ava going into the Playoffs.”
