So, is a second season in the works? Here are all the details to know about the future of Electric Bloom.
Is Electric Bloom canceled or renewed for Season 2?
As of now, Disney+ has neither canceled nor renewed Electric Bloom for Season 2, but the cast members have expressed hope and ideas for a potential second season.
To this date, there is no credible or official information concerning the cancellation or renewal of Electric Bloom Season 2. The creators have not yet issued any statements regarding a new season. The future of Season 2 largely remains undecided and likely depends on factors such as viewership, streaming performance, and Disney’s programming strategy.
During an interview with TVInsider, the team asked the Electric Bloom cast members about a possible Season 2. Sanchez’s character expressed a wish to spend additional time in the 18-year-old timeline. “I think that would be super cool that it’s not just confessionals; we would actually have comedy moments, and stuff like that would be super cool.”
On the other hand, Pollack’s character has concepts that delve deeper into their family’s history, which will be highlighted in the forthcoming Season 2. She elaborated, “Maybe seeing where we came from, maybe our houses or our parents or how we grow up, more of a backstory.”
Ultimately, Ruby commented on her character Tulip, expressing a desire to see her “be more confident. I know she’s super outgoing, but I’d love to see her confident in who she is and being able to just do the thing she wants to do without being nervous.”
Lumi Pollack, Carmen Sanchez, Ruby Marino, Nathaniel Buescher, and others are among the series’ main cast.
All episodes of Electric Bloom are available to stream on Disney+.
