Marvel TV head might have dropped a major update on a new Jessica Jones show. The latest episode of the Phase Hero podcast has left fans hopeful that Krysten Ritter may lead the next Marvel revival series.
Jessica Jones ‘Born Again’ TV Show might just happen after Daredevil
Brad Winderbaum, the Marvel Studios‘ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, has teased a new Jessica Jones show. During his recent appearance on the first-ever Phase Hero LIVE show, the Marvel TV boss gave his thoughts on a potential revival project for the beloved character.
At one point during the interview, host Brandon Davis asked, “So, when’s ‘Jessica Jones: Born Again’?”
Winderbaum gave a light chuckle before replying, “Maybe sooner than you think.” Krysten Ritter, who also joined the podcast later, gave a knowing look and provided a hopeful update about her character’s future in the franchise.
“There’s a lot of stuff that I’ve felt there was room to explore, and Brad and I talked about it. And I am not going to say any of it, because we’re going to be doing it,” the actress stated.
As of yet, Marvel has not officially announced the Jessica Jones revival series. However, following this interview, fans are convinced that Ritter is next in line after Charlie Cox’s Daredevil revival.
For now, fans are excited to see Ritter return as Jones in the upcoming second season of Daredevil: Born Again. The highly anticipated sophomore season is coming out in March 2026, on Disney+. It will see Matt Murdock assemble a group of allies to take down Mayor Wilson Fisk.
Furthermore, Marvel has also confirmed that the revival will also return with a third season. The show features a stellar cast that includes Charlie Cox as the titular lead, along with returning stars like Deborah Ann Woll, Wilson Bethel, Jon Bernthal, and more.
