The most critical Targaryens who will feature on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms are as follows:

Aegon V Targaryen (Egg): Aegon Targaryen, also known as Egg, will have a major arc on A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. In the trailer, he is seen serving as a squire to Ser Duncan the Tall, the main character.

He is the son of Maekar I Targaryen and a direct descendant of Rhaenyra and Daemon’s family. Aegon is also the grandfather of Aerys II Targaryen, or the Mad King, making him Daenerys Targaryen’s great-grandfather. He is the brother of Maester Aemon from the Night’s Watch, who played a significant role in Game of Thrones.

Aerion Targaryen: Aerion Targaryen and Egg are brothers, thus making him a descendant of Rhaenyra and Daemon. He is a great-granduncle to Daenerys. In Westeros, he was known as Aerion Brightflame and wore a helmet with flames emanating from it.

Daeron Targaryen: Daeron Targaryen is one of Egg’s older brothers. He is the eldest son of Maekar I and directly in line to the throne of Westeros.

Maekar I Targaryen: Maekar I Targaryen will be the brother of the current ruler of Westeros in A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. He is the father of Egg, Aerion, Daeron, and Aemon.

Dyanna Dayne: Dyanna Dayne is the wife of Maekar I Targaryen and mother to all of his kids. Given that her last name is Dayne, she must be related to Ser Arthur Dayne from Game of Thrones in some way. This means Daenerys Targaryen and the knights of her Queensguard were distant cousins.

Baelor Targaryen: Baelor Targaryen is the hand of the king. His elder brother Daeron II Targaryen, when A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms begins. He is also the elder brother of Maekar and Egg’s uncle. However, he is not the same as Baelor the Blessed.
