Ava rescues Alexis from Ric’s dagger
At her home, Alexis was working while speaking to her assistant, Suzanne, about the next day’s schedule—which included the reading of Monica’s will—unaware that Ric was lurking nearby. The moment she hung up, Ric cornered her and pressed Helena’s dagger against her throat. Alexis told him he’d already won. Ric demanded she call the police and confess to all her crimes, but Alexis reminded him that if she went down, he would too.
Ric pinned her against the fireplace. Alexis tried to reason with him, invoking Molly’s name to remind him what was at stake. Ric hesitated, but Ava suddenly burst in, threw liquid in Ric’s face, and knocked him out with a breadboard. The women dragged him back to the basement, handcuffed him to the gurney, and made sure he wouldn’t escape again.
Britt blocks James from seeing his father
At the hospital, Britt argued with her mother that introducing James to his father too soon could confuse the boy and suggested involving a child therapist first. While Obrecht agreed, James slipped away and went to Nathan’s room, where they shared sodas and bonded. Felicia, Obrecht, and Spinelli witnessed the reunion, but Britt appeared deeply unsettled, wondering if this man was truly Nathan—or someone else posing as him.
Sonny welcomes Monica’s mysterious sister, Ronnie
Meanwhile, Sonny visited Monica’s memorial wall and met Ronnie, Monica’s long-lost sister. The two bonded over shared memories and their mutual dislike for Tracy. Ronnie admitted she regretted not reconnecting with Monica sooner and appreciated Sonny’s kindness. Later, Sonny invited her to Bobbie’s for a meal, where they continued their conversation about family and loss. However, Ronnie received a mysterious call summoning her to the reading of Monica’s will.
Tracy confronts Michael about Drew’s shooting
At the crypt, Michael found Tracy fuming over Monica’s estate and his possible involvement in Drew’s shooting. She accused him of having an unreliable alibi. Michael insisted he went to confront Drew but backed off before entering the house. Tracy didn’t believe him but revealed she didn’t care whether he was guilty, as long as he stayed out of jail. She said it was her duty to Monica to protect him.
Anna suspects Michael or Carly shot Drew
Anna questioned Carly about her call with Michael on the night Drew was shot. Carly maintained that their conversation was innocent and unrelated to the crime. Anna hinted that both Carly and Michael had access to the gun used in the shooting.
Carly later met Sonny at Bobbie’s and confessed she might have said too much during her interview. Across town, Molly met with Anna and revealed that Michael’s alibi might have been staged—pushing him to the top of the suspect list.
