So, what is Caddis in Butterfly? Here’s your answer.

Here’s what Caddis is in Prime Video’s Butterfly
Caddis is a powerful global organization responsible for training and employing highly-skilled operatives to deal with and neutralize various threats.
The organization holds a large number of resources, has an unlimited number of personnel, and has connections worldwide. While it is believed to be an ideal and reputable private organization, it is in reality a sinister entity. Juno Lund (Piper Perabo), the leader of Caddis, is a cold-blooded killer who assigns individuals to carry out her shady work. For instance, she ordered Rebecca to kill the Sudanese finance minister and his security team. She also tasked her with secretly bringing down a Venezuelan military aircraft.
Moreover, the organization is revealed to be providing crucial and sensitive information to Russia. These include troop movements of the United States’ allied countries and intel on Ukrainian targets and military capabilities.
Caddis managed to keep their reputation squeaky clean by using middlemen within the government and highly trained agents to cover their tracks.
However, Caddis, which was revealed to be founded by David Jung, was not always an evil organization. In Butterfly Episode 2, which explores the organization’s origins, it’s revealed that it was a private intelligence group that originally carried out dangerous missions outside government jurisdiction.
However, Caddis became corrupt after Juno, Jung’s business partner, orchestrated a trap that killed the latter’s entire team. Jung, fearing for his and Rebecca’s lives, faked his death and went into hiding. Subsequently, Juno, who desired power, used the opportunity to take over the organization and use it to advance her sinister goals.
