The actor known for his roles as Robert Scorpio and Colin Atkinson in the respective shows passed away on August 15, 2025. Firstly, Steve Burton shared a heartfelt message on social media. He wrote, “If you know General Hospital, you know Robert Scorpio. tristanrogers73 The man. The legend. The OG. I’m truly honored that I had the chance to work alongside Tristan on his very last day at work. Not only that, I got to spend real time with him…just making sure he was taken care of. You could see he was going through it, but the strength he showed to still be there… it spoke volumes. Most people in that situation might have said, ‘Stay home, take care of yourself.’ But for Tristan, @generalhospital was his home.”
Further, Mary Beth Evans mentioned how, “Tristan brought such charm, wit and depth to every scene, and it was an honor to share that screen time with him.” Additionally, Genie Francis, Kathleen Gati, Daniel Goddard, and Nancy Lee Grahn wrote emotional messages recalling the late actor.
