Soap Stars Pay Tribute to General Hospital’s Tristan Rogers After Passing

General Hospital and The Young and the Restless recently witnessed the loss of their cast member, Tristan Rogers. The actor known for his roles as Robert Scorpio and Colin Atkinson in the respective shows passed away on August 15, 2025. As such, numerous daily soap actors took to their social media to pay tribute to the late actor.

The Young and the Restless and General Hospital stars paid their respect to Tristan Rogers.

Firstly, Steve Burton shared a heartfelt message on social media. He wrote, “If you know General Hospital, you know Robert Scorpio. tristanrogers73 The man. The legend. The OG. I’m truly honored that I had the chance to work alongside Tristan on his very last day at work. Not only that, I got to spend real time with him…just making sure he was taken care of. You could see he was going through it, but the strength he showed to still be there… it spoke volumes. Most people in that situation might have said, ‘Stay home, take care of yourself.’ But for Tristan, @generalhospital was his home.”

Further, Mary Beth Evans mentioned how, “Tristan brought such charm, wit and depth to every scene, and it was an honor to share that screen time with him.” Additionally, Genie Francis, Kathleen Gati, Daniel Goddard, and Nancy Lee Grahn wrote emotional messages recalling the late actor. Moreover, Carolyn Hennessy wrote, “You wonderful, handsome, talented, quirky, wiley and oh-so special human. Adore you now and always, Tristan.”

Finola Hughes, Jon Lindstrom, Lisa LoCicero, Sofia Mattsson, Kimberly McCullough, and Stephen Nichols were also recalling their working experience with Rogers. Emma Samms also felt grateful to share the screen with the seasoned actor. Others in the list included Parry Shen, Kin Shriner, Brooklyn Rae Silzer, Rick Springfield, John Stamos, Kristina Wagner, and John J. York.

Tristan Rogers passed away, reportedly due to lung cancer.
