Sorel is a mobster who arrives in Port Charles in 1999. He eventually locks horns and becomes enemies with Sonny Corinthos. Sorel later orders a hit on Sonny, resulting in the latter getting shot twice outside the police station and almost dying.
Two years later, Sonny is stabbed while visiting Lily Corinthos’ grave. He is subsequently found by a woman named Angel, who takes him home and nurses him back to health.
