The tension between Carly and Nina reaches a breaking point in General Hospital’s May 19 episode. What starts as a war of words quickly escalates into a full-blown physical fight, with slaps, hair-pulling, and a dramatic tumble over the couch. But this isn’t just another petty argument, as it’s a clash over the future of Willow’s children, Wiley and Amelia.

Who wins Carly and Nina’s catfight on General Hospital?
Both Nina and Carly were at loggerheads during the episode, but before their fight was broken off, it seems Nina had the upper hand.
Nina arrives at Carly’s house, furious after discovering that Carly secretly scheduled a custody hearing without Michael’s knowledge. She believed they were working together to protect Willow and the kids from Drew. But Carly admits she acted alone, insisting she had to step in before, as Willow is nowhere near leaving Drew.
Nina accuses Carly of using their alliance as a distraction while plotting against her. Carly fires back, claiming Nina doesn’t understand true motherhood since she wasn’t there for Willow growing up. The argument escalates when Nina ends up slapping Carly, only for Carly to retaliate with a slap of her own. The two women fight and wrestle until Joss intervenes.
While the brawl ends in a standoff in General Hospital, Carly ultimately forces Nina out of her house with a warning. But Nina isn’t backing down, she vows to fight Carly every step of the way to protect Willow’s children. Later, Nina shows up to see Willow, face bruised and emotions raw. She tells her daughter that Carly attacked her and is determined to take the kids away.
Willow, who was being pursued by Sonny to postpone the date since Michael isn’t physically there, became more sure to go forward with the hearing. For those unversed, everything changed after Michael was critically injured in an explosion at Sonny’s penthouse.
With Michael in the hospital and unable to make decisions, Nina and her lawyer, Martin Grey, acted quickly. They found a clause in Michael’s will giving custody of his kids to Willow if he ever became incapacitated. On the other hand, determined to keep her grandchildren safe and not trusting Drew, Carly secretly filed for an emergency custody hearing, without telling Willow or Michael. Both eventually teamed up to throw Drew out of Willow’s life, but now it seems they have disbanded.
