The spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1124 have been released. In the upcoming chapter, fans will witness the journey of Monkey D. Luffy’s Straw Hat pirates toward Elbaf, the Land of Giants. However, the recent One Piece manga leaks have also hinted at various other events that have transpired in the world.

The much-awaited Chapter 1124 of One Piece is titled Best Friend. At the end of the previous chapter, Luffy set sail toward Elbaf with some significant assistance from the Giants as the Egghead arc seemingly came to an end. With the Straw Hats shown celebrating the start of their journey with the Giants in the last chapter, this party is expected to continue in Chapter 1124 as well.
Apart from focusing on the Straw Hats, Chapter 1124 will also feature returning characters Vivi and Wapol. They are in the headquarters of the World Economy Newspaper with Big News Morgans. Morgans prepares to write headlines ready to be set out in the world. However, he is obstructed by Vivi, who objects to the headlines — “Law Vs. Blackbeard,” “Kid Vs. Red Hair,” and “Straw Hat murdering Vegapunk.” Wapol tries to break the two apart, while Morgans says his era is commencing as the world is about to burn.
On the other hand, on Egghead Island, Sentomaru flees the place in a small boat all teary-eyed. Kizaru, who is supposedly the only Marine awake in Egghead, responds to a call by Akainu and indulges in a conversation. Akainu inquires Kizaru about the situation on the island, Saturn’s safety, and the Power Plant. Following this, he accuses Kizaru of doing a “lousy job” when suddenly Kizaru asks Akainu if he has ever killed a best friend, following which he gets emotional. Fans will get to see a flashback of Kizaru and his late friend Dr. Vegapunk’s friendship.
The focus of the chapter turns to the Elbaf ship, where the Straw Hats converse with Lilith. They tell her about the events of Egghead as she wakes up. Usopp reveals that she is the sole Vegapunk they managed to rescue, while Lilith admits she knows everything. Sanji and the others wonder how she knows when Lilith suddenly starts to cry and gets hungry.
Later, Brook asserts that the mood of the ship is a bit sad. Luffy is also depressed over not being able to rescue the apple man. Lilith tries to motivate Luffy and says that he did fulfill his promise by saving her and he doesn’t need to remain sad. This makes Luffy instantly happy and the Straw Hats break into a party. The Giants later play a message from Vegapunk. In the message, he asserts the one to find One Piece will control the world. Hearing this, Luffy suggests that he is going to be the King of the Pirates.
One Piece Chapter 1124 will be out in the United States on Sunday, August 25, at 11 a.m. ET/10 a.m. CT/8 a.m. PT. And the series will be on break next week.
