Drake vs Kendrick Lamar Beef: Millie Bobby Brown & Heart Part 6 Lyrics Explained

Fans are wondering about the lyrics of the new diss track that adds to Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s recent ongoing feud, The Heart Part 6, and its Millie Bobby Brown connection. The two rappers have been feuding via diss tracks aimed at one another since March 2024, ever since Lamar ruthlessly dismissed the idea of him, Drake, and J. Cole as rap’s “big three” in Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.”

So what is Millie Bobby Brown’s connection to this latest diss track by Drake? Here is everything to know.

Drake mentions Millie Bobby Brown in Heart Part 6 amidst Kendrick Lamar beef

Drake mentions Millie Bobby Brown in the lyrics of his latest diss track “The Heart Part 6.” The title is a play on Kendrick Lamar’s long-running “The Heart” music series. The exact line where he mentions Millie Bobby Brown is, “Only f***in with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Brown, I’d never look twice at no teenager.”

Naturally, fans were surprised, given how Kendrick Lamar had not bought up Millie Bobby Brown in any of his diss tracks, even in “Meet the Grahams,” where he alleged Drake’s interaction with much younger women. Fans took to social media to share various GIF and meme reactions, expressing shock, amusement, and bewilderment.

The Millie Bobby Brown reference in Drake’s recent lyrics reportedly harks back to 2018, when Drake received backlash from fans online after the much-younger Millie Bobby Brown revealed that she considered Drake “a great friend and great role model.” (via Entertainment Tonight)

Millie Bobby Brown later defended her friendly relationship with Drake and expressed her opinion that their fans were “weird” for making her and Drake’s closeness a big thing to discuss. (via Vanity Fair).

What happened between Drake and Kendrick Lamar?

Drake and Kendrick Lamar reportedly started out as friends in 2011. However, they have been at odds since at least 2013, following the release of Big Sean’s “Control,” which featured Lamar, where he dissed Drake and his fellow rappers ruthlessly and claimed he wanted to “murder” them and make them nobodies.

Since the dissing between Kendrick Lamar and Drake and the fanfare around it does not seem to be slowing down, it will be interesting to see where this feud continues.
