Fallout TV Show: Who Is Mr. House? Is He a Villain?

Now that the Fallout TV show is out on Prime Video, viewers wish to know who is Mr. House. Is he a villain and will he be back in the next season? Here’s everything you need to know.

Who is Mr. House in the Fallout TV show?

Mr. House is the founder and CEO of RobCo Industries and the ruler of New Vegas in the Fallout franchise.

Robert Edwin House had a huge presence in the 2010 game, Fallout: New Vegas, which is set in 2281. In it, he is voiced by René Auberjonois. But a flashback in the latest series shows a younger version of Mr. House, played by Rafi Silver. The cameo is set over 200 years before the game.

Mr. House has a genius-level intellect and vast resources. In Fallout: New Vegas, he is the sole proprietor of Mojave Wasteland’s New Vegas strip and is responsible for civilizing the casino tribes in his district. Further, he is revealed as a mechanically modified cyborg who controls a powerful robot army.

Initially starting as a competitor, his company becomes an ally to Vault-Tec, which is probably why Hank MacLean flew towards New Vegas towards the end of the show. He’d likely seek the help of RobCo and Mr. House in Fallout Season 2.

Is Mr. House a villain in the Fallout TV show and New Vegas?

Mr. House is one of the main antagonists in Fallout: New Vegas and could be revealed as one of the villains in Fallout Season 2 as well.

He is against democracy and wishes to keep New Vegas under his control so he can shape and rebuild human civilization under his leadership. Moreover, he believes that democracy led to the Great War. But now humanity could thrive under his control.

He had a hand in mass genocide in the past. Now, he is set to be one of the main antagonists in Fallout Season 2 on Prime Video as well. It will be interesting to see if Rafi Silver will be back to play the role.
