Interestingly, executive producer Glen Mazzara teased not only a third season but also more future seasons for Beacon 23 in a December 2023 interview with The Wrap. He said, “We do have a Season 2, we have plans for more seasons. Hopefully, we get to tell that story … The show does add up, does have an answer, the show does have a meaning. We’re not just throwing stuff against the wall to see what sticks. That’s not true. There is a plan.”
Since the second season of Beacon 23 has only just premiered, a third season announcement could come once most if not all of the episodes of the second season have aired. This is because, by that time, MGM Plus would have likely determined if a third-season renewal needs to happen or not.
