Peacock has new TV and movie releases for April 8-14, 2024, including Chucky Season 3 Part 2, all five seasons of Luther, and Pitch Perfect.
On April 8, Peacock subscribers can check out all five seasons of Luther. Luther is a British psychological crime-thriller show written by Neil Ross. It stars Idris Elba in the lead role of DCI John Luther. Throughout the show, Luther is depicted as a man who struggles with his inner demons. At times, this issue makes him as dangerous as the criminals he hunts and arrests. Complicating matters further for Luther is his strange relationship with brilliant psychopath and murderer Alice Morgan.
Then, on April 11, fans of the Chucky series can get excited as the highly anticipated second part of the third season makes its debut on Peacock. The second part of season 3 is expected to continue the story established by the first. Chucky is a horror series created by Don Mancini and serves as a sequel to his 2017 film Cult of Chucky. The story follows Chucky as he commits a series of murders in a quiet United States city.
Last on April 12, Peacock subscribers can stream Pitch Perfect. The story follows an all-girl a cappella group who must compete against a rival group from their own college in order to win the Nationals. The story is reportedly loosely based on Cornell University alum Mickey Rapkin’s non-fiction book “Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory” and director Jason Moore’s own experiences at his alma mater, Northwestern University.
The other releases arriving on Peacock this week are The Real Housewives of Potomac, Season 8 Reunion Part 2, When Calls The Heart Season 11, Hapless Seasons 1 and 2, and The Legend of Lost Locket.
